About Post Script Psychological Services

Hi, I’m Kathryn!

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and Parnell Institute training in Attachment-Focused EMDR.

I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults and am registered in Alberta (CAP #4798) and New Zealand (NZPB # 90-07035). My specialties include working with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, self-injury, and concussion.

My Practice

In addition to providing individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults, I also conduct cognitive and psych-educational assessments for students (ages 7-16).

I am committed to fostering an environment that affirms the dignity, worth and strength of all people, and where all attitudes, beliefs, values, and behaviours can be freely explored.

Every one of us experiences challenges and we all deserve a safe and caring space to grow. My goal as a psychologist is to hold that space and work alongside you to harness and nurture your unique personal strengths.

Why Post Script?

So at this point you might be wondering - why is this psychology practice called Post Script? Well, a postscript is defined as a note or series of notes appended to a completed letter, article, or book. Applied to a psychology practice, the name Post Script represents the idea that we’re never done writing our own stories, no matter what’s transpired - or what has been “completed” in our story - up to now.

Check out the Approach page for more information on how this philosophy informs my approach to therapy with my clients.
